About Us

Founded by Shelley and John Aliotti, the Carmel Valley Art Association (CVAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local working artists in Monterey County. Located in the sunny heart of Carmel Valley Village—just 10 miles inland from Carmel-by-the-Sea—our gallery offers a vibrant space “beyond the fog” where art enthusiasts can explore a diverse collection of local talent.

Our Mission

We aim to provide a platform for over 30 local artists, showcasing a wide array of media including painting, mixed media, photography, sculpture, mosaic, ceramic, beading, and estate jewelry. Whether you’re seeking a unique piece to adorn your home or a special souvenir from your travels, our gallery offers something for everyone who appreciates beauty and creative expression.
